A SPL of 120 dB/W/m (f6 @ 20 Hz) is easily do-able in half space without getting to large (overall size of Cubo Sub), with a single driver. That could work up to 130 dB/W/m, with an f3 @ 20 Hz in 1/8 space.

But I did not understand what it meant half space.
The RCF is 18 inches. And JL is 12 inches.
Which one will give more power at low frequency.
And had more kick.
I'm looking for a subwoofer will be felt in the chest.
For example: Trance music. Feel the vibrations throughout the body and the couch.
Thank you for your help

Maybe some research into actual HZ.
Trance in general sounds best with lots of 63hz IMHO

But he did not fit the closet . Is too high.
How do I change his measurements. Up to 48 cm depth
Width up to 1 meter. And height to 80 cm.
Priority he can get to the frequency of 30HZ.
This depth with the opening on the front side.
You can help me in planning?

Yes, these drivers work best in Cubo 18 Extended and will take equal or more power as in a reflex design.swan wrote: Cubo. I have Beyma 18G40 drivers. Will the work in the cubo 18's?

It's often the kick that is felt in the chest, the lowr kick starts at about 80 Hz, going upwards from there.I'm looking for a subwoofer will be felt in the chest.
Regular trance music hasn't much content below 40 Hz. Some samples might dive down to 30 Hz. To feel the music you would need high SPL.For example: Trance music. Feel the vibrations throughout the body and the couch.
My first bet would be the JL Audio 12" in a largish reflex design tuned low (so that it makes plenty of excursion with lower power levels) and place it nearby your couch. Consider placement in your room, in a corner or against a wall will increase the overall SPL-levels, see link. Ussually there is a bass minimum in the middle of the room, whilst there is an overload of bass near the walls.
Alternatively build a Cubo Sub that is 48 cm wide (so 77 x 77 x 48 cm). It will go down to 30 Hz and interact better with the room gain as the standard Cubo Sub.

1. What saw blade width have you used ? 300 mm ??
2. And the panel thats 47.7 *58.4 is the one with the 17.5 degree angle cut along the longest edge yes ? and also the sheet that holds the driver?
3. the pieces of wood that go around the mouth what is the angle on those , the ones that sit under the panel that supports the driver ?> is it 17.5 again ? heres a pic of what i mean http://desmond.imageshack.us/Himg826/scaled.php?server=826&filename=cubo1820.jpg&xsize=640&ysize=640
Another question the large triangle support I notice in the construction pics you have had to cut out a notch but its not in the plan ?
a quick answer would be good as Ive paid to get it cut and dont want to make any mistakes.
Regards
Pete
