Any more news on the SMPS 10KW amp?
Curious to know more on the availability of this amp and price.Audinium Series
Mainly interested in the 5000watt x 2 @4ohm version.
Also what is the frequency BW of these amplifiers again?
Looking for a amplifier with a 3hz-20khz for my home subwoofers. I have a few subs in smaller boxes and they need 4000watts each for optimum playback. But this is for movies hence the need for 3hz. Two x 5000watts four ohm would work fine for the home subs as long as they dont get cut off at 10hz electronically like most amps. Either way I would be looking at a pair of these amps for home subs. (4 x 21")
I am in no hurry but am exploring what other options are out there other than the PKN, Powersoft, LG, and Macrotech amps.
Thanks in advance for your help and info.I live in Australia so 240vac if that helps you any.
David

Hi David,
Our new range has models from 500W/ch to 5000W/ch , available in 2 & 4 ohms separately. There are some 4 channel amps also we have included like 2500WX4 @ 4ohms. All versions feature a continuous average power against bogus EIAJ/EIA ratings which are used by manufacturers to elevate power specs.
There is a roots/dub version of monoblock we have in our lab which is rated from DC to 1khz for subwoofers only. Its DC input DC output capable. This amplifier can do 5000W continuous in 2 ohms, no compression, no EIA, only continuous average power.
For more details, you can pm your contact email to me.
regards,
Kanwar

PM sent.
I like the 4ohm 5000watt amplifier. But also like the monoblock amplifiers BW. I just need 4-5000watts at 4ohm though. So either way it seems like your amps have enough power its just a matter of which works for me.

Been meaning to comment fr Jan but unable to post or PM for some reason: The excuse given for the lack of a web page doesn't wash when most IT resources are coming outta India cheap.

So for anyone that cares I will be trying out Zyphers new SMPS amps. I am going to try their 4x500 watt amp first. Then I may try their 55KG one and then the 8000watt SMPS version.
