Would you, by any chance, care to share your design sometime? I've got some RCF 12's that came out of an EAW horn. I was going to build cabinets for them this year. It would probably be a good fit

yes this plan will be to share, but it wont be an easy build........ ive made a few changes to the design and im currently drawing it up to scale. Once im happy with the design ill build a protatype. and if im happy with out come i will share. I wont get the 1st one built till mid jan...... ill keep you posted. if you are local, i may consider letting members borrow for free the master mould.....

what model of rcf's are they, i dont mind plotting a predicted plott for you, but this would be a ruff idea of how they might sound, not an actual real time plot.....

They're EAW LC-1242's which is, from what I could tell with my research, the same as an RCF L12-584k. As far as specs go, I can't even begin to guess and I haven't found anything about it yet. The person I bought them from said they came out of a horn loaded enclosure. The search goes on, anyways.... smiley13


I'll keep my eyes glued to this thread to see what you come up with, it will be a great reason to have to buy that table saw I've been eying. Building cabinets with a skilsaw sucks smiley5 ! I might be down to borrow the mold, I just need to get a plane ride out there from the US west coast, that's local, right !?!

no probs ill post up in a bit....... please note though ive not built this horn yet, and the plotts would be a rough guide only.....

this design seems to be plotting very well with alot of differant speakers, im gonna start on the proto type this week.
