My first ever disco system was a Saxon battery powered mixer that cost £6.00 and a FAL Phase 50 (watt)PA amp head. It worked and earned me a fortune.

I think the Baker gear mentioned here was Geoff Baker. He became a massive HH dealer when they were at there height
FAL were part of the group that owned Fane in the early days. And who can forget the famous Fane POP speakers. It took years for them to shug off that image.

There must have been something about Ealing. Jim Marshall started there with his shop.

Perhaps someone noticed a twinkle in your eye. Is there something else you would like to be?

Forgot that one. LyonForge, hehehe.
What about BK? They were cheap before China, I know someone who has lots, never failed. The modules used to get used by disco shops as well.
And TK?? I liked them.
There was also a shop on the Egeware road, not Henry's, Music something, diid sound to lights with no suppresion, click click, crackle crackle Thats tears of laughter!

BK were always excellent and used to be a well cheap solution. Unfortunately these days there modules are more expensive than complete amps like berry. Still excellent quality though and totally reliable.
