Hello Bitzo, It sounds amazing on it's own, I will be trying to arrange to compare it with the new PD1851. I haven't done anything to the new system for about 2 weeks, but really, it's all there now. I just have to sort out amps to drive it with, and then I'll be done. I'll keep you posted

It's the B and C DCX 50 coax that I'm using. I have done a little network to go between the two parts of the driver, so actively, it will be four way. So far I have only to dip it at 1.6hz on the Omnidrive and the rest is flat to the top, so apart from the suck out, the driver is flat from 500-16000hz and 3db down at 20khz.
I'll be crossing into the driver at 600hz from the 2x12 mid section. It's all positive at the moment. The only frustrating thing is that because of other building commitments, I am not getting all the time I would like to finalize the system. However, in the next week of two it will be done.
I'll probably go down the Matrix route with the amps.

Amplifier wise, It looks like I'll be going down the Matrix Route.
Ongoing maybe better, although I still see as the final stage, albeit, a long one.
I still need to build more subs. Someone bought the RXjnr's, they had to go because the customer wouldn't wait. The problem I've had with getting this system done, is that I an busy with other production stuff. I have now made the metal bits for suspending the horn. All components are here, cabs still need painting, which I will do all in one hit. Racks still have to be built, although that's only a day. Looks like I might do some demos in the Royal Hotel at the bottom of Southend High Street, when it's completed.
Watch this space.

i am very interested in what amps you would choose.
as i'm planning to change from 18tbx100 to 18sw115 in my hog scoops(small chamber, long horn). would like to try my crest cc4000 in bridge mode across 2 x drivers (should Be enough power for the 18sw115, but the amp isnt top of crest models)but couldnt do as there are gigs almost every week and no places to make hours and hours of full power tests.
i also was pleased by how 4 x 18tbx100 powered by crest played last week smiley20

My demo rig will consist of 4 RX18jnr's on the bottom, and it looks like I'll run 2 Matrix 6000's in bridge mode which will give me some headroom for the subs.
