And why not a 1 inch HF?
BMS 4550 will go 1KHz without a sweat. It is not expensive and will sound better than 2 inch one.
I was thinking of building just the box for the 12 section and then mount coaxially BMS4550 on a Selenium 1425 horn.
What do you think?

It looks a good hf dont now much about them ill look into it more over the weekend, do they drop low enough to meet the 12" or would there be a gap in the frequency.

They go down to 800Hz so no gap at all.

my only concern is the handle position. are you going to put castors on them?

I wasnt going to put casters on!, i based the handle position on where i felt it was most comfortable to lift these. where would you of put them!

The speakers are all but finished. Its been a very busy few weeks so ive not got much more done at mo. All i need to do is paint and load them will try to post pics as soon as i have finished them off

I build speakers for fun. By day i make and fit custom kitchens. But if you wanted some i have the plans and templates. They arnt cheap to make cost of wood etc. How many do you need!.

Yes, but 4x castors on rear, would allow wheeling 2x cabs ontop of each other (face to face), with crate of speakons on top.[img]smileys/smiley36.gif[/img]

May work out better on materials/labour if you quote for 8x cabs a time. Myself and someone else I know, "may" be interested in 1x pair each,if cabs are well made/finished, good priceand collectable in London.
