I love mt's!

i love the look of the, i love the sound of them and i love building them!

Its the only diy mid i would bother with.... shockingly loud!

Produce a killer sound. Take no prisoners.

I have changed the plans a bit by cutting the front to the flare and routering the bottom flare section to the base of the box. I think this gives it amoreagressive look!. To componsate for the 4mm routering on the base i have increased the hight of the rear chamber by 4mmthis keeps all the dimentions the same!.

All that is left for me to do is make inside boxes for the handles round the handles off and affix the front section for the 2" horn.

wicked stuff man.. Lovely build, they are great boxes.. You will be amazed by the quality of the sound and stoopid spl if you have never heard them before... I know I was.

My only advice is invest in a good compression driver, you need something that will get low enough for the drop off on the mid horn ( around the 1khz mark)... A good quality 2" will do this and should get up to 16khz (unfortunatly those kinda comps ain't cheap).

I'm sure someone here could recommend you a good one.

Cheers, and thanks for the guides posted!

A.

Cheers adam, i was going to go with the recomended drivers by rog! what do you think!, any better options ive not cut the front section for the 2" yet, so i still have time to change driver choice, and not purchased drivers!.

Note to myself buy drivers!!!!
