I also was told that 2-way bass and independent tops would be much better in the long run, but I didn't have enough cash for 4-way.

as for the xtros, if 2 can keep up with 6 punishers i reckon 4 could keep up with 6 WSX.
used TMS series mid/tops and the martin audio would rape the sh*t out of them....
@ lev..... our own project is going to be a long term one, i very much doubt building speakers for other people is viable

My personal favourite is the RCF that was meant to be in it, along with the Void V18-1000, and finally the budget winner in most applications, the C18-650EL (Unless you're unlucky and are affected by RoHS glue trouble).
