More low-end extension but lower sensitivity.
Do you seriously consider doing that to the ones you have build or are you looking for at new project?

I was considering doing it to the ones I have. Love them to death, as does every dj who plays off them, but can't see over them when I am pushing them on their rear wheels etc.......(pain in the ass to move)

I can fully understand the size problem. That is why I have been sticking to mini-scoops even though I of course also would like some huge horns.
You might consider mounting wheels on the back of them?
But then again 8" is not that much, you might get away with it, but if it was me then I would dare.

The bottom of some of the scoop have been damaged, so I would have to put a new bottom on them anyway, and I know I could get the brace out easily, so it should be an easy mod. They would end up being the height of Rog's 21 superscoopers.....
I can't put wheels on the back of them (I have considered this) as two wouldn't fit (2 wide) in the truck and they way they come off the truck- they get slid of the side down their back.

A wheel board maybe?
Okay, well if you have to make sawdust anyway you could do it, but then test the result before you do it to all of them. If you are not happy with the results then you only need to build one or two new(depending on how many you use for the test).

I suppose that would be the way forward, and a test WOULD be in order for A/B.
This probably won't take place until the end of Aug. I'll post results.....

I think the respect should come from the sound coming out of them.......

I have to agree with Jason (You both actually).
Solution: wheels on the back and a bigger truck
