How would this design work with the Eminence Sigma Pro 18-A2 8ohm driver. Its also hard to tell from the drawing exactly how the driver opening is put together. Is it completely open and the 2 small braces go across the opening, or is the opening only between the braces??

From the designer:

"The Sigma appears a bit limited to me: Its specs while not too bad are not optimal, its Xmax of 6.1mm is not enough and is going to limit output.
Therefore I do not recommend this driver for the MN-246."

In the couple years i have been putting cabs together and experimenting i have found that you cannot stray from the driver that a bandpass or bandpass horn box is designed for.

+1 save up and get the correct driver.....

Is it possible to cut this sub in two parts? it will be after 60.8cmThx

What abou RCF L18P300 in this design? Would it be ok?
