Has B&C got an equivalent to the PD1850 ?

They don't do a direct equivalent but for certain cabs in which you'd use a PD1850, there is a B&C alternative. Won't sound the same though because the 1850 is fairly unique in it's specification.

<div>so ive used those 21's on a few jobs now, and i have to say their performance is superb. </div>

<div>however, given the fact that i usually have to put in smaller systems on my own, the shape is not working for me - i need subs which have a smallish footprint, but are tall enough to have a mid high box placed straight on the top</div>

<div>so, im going to start working on a twin 18 design, as a twin 21 is just not practical.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>sticking with neo, i would like to get hold of 2 18nw100 drivers, 8 ohm so i can start prototyping. can you let me have a price and availability</div>
<div> </div>
<div>a unit cost if there is a price break at around 10 drivers would also be usefull</div>

<div>cheers</div>

Chris, I am PMing the details to you. Your 2x18 will be easy, at least with a reflex cab you can choose your dimensions, as long as in this case, the cab is more than 18" wide.

I would agree. The 1850 is out there on its own. It's never been the perfect speaker in every situation, I've ripped a few up myself. This is something that hasn't happened with a TBX100 yet. In the beginning, the size of the speaker and the voice coil made it a desirable speaker, but unfortunately, these factors never made it bullet proof. In todays economic climate, more people consider reliability equal to or above the sound quality.

Hi Mate. I'll check this out tomorrow. This number isn't on the current list, so it obviously an old model. I'll get back. T.
