It's the, "Other" forms of dance that concern me. Many pics of gormless dead eyed punters facing the stacks.
Bass heavy, wanting more and more sub.
Cannot be a happy ending to this, not in todays PC climate.
They banned Acid house (or tried to) because of the histeria. It's not here yet, but if you keep sticking systems in for 500 people that would have done 3000 ten years ago something will give.

On a different note, I turned fifty today, so I can be a proper grumpy old man. TURN IT DOWN YOUNG MAN.

Mates regularly do 400 people venues with only 4x scoops and 1x decent 5K torroidial amp on sub.

God knows what would be needed for same air movement if taking some of the branded stuff.

Only 4 x scoops for 400 people

I've been at a full Slough Centre (1000+) running nicely on 6 x T18's.
Tudor Rose in the 90's running on a lot less.
God how times change.

Heheh. Thanks all. Letching over the Barmaid now feels a little wrong

Genuine point over the sub though, even little Village hall which has had parties for 100+ years here now being stopped.

My Sub amp will be bridged, but it's all to do with sound, not power.

Peace and goodwill to all speaker builders

EV P3000's, Crown Macrotechs etc are all bridged channels, and can be bridged again!
