X12 Midtop

Hi guys,

I'm looking for some advice regarding the X12 plan by Rog Mogale that I´m planning to build.
For sub-bass I will use one X1 bandpass sub per side, low pass around 80Hz, so the tops need to go from 80-20000 Hz.
I already sorted the compression driver, it will be the BMS 4550 that can be crossed low at 1200 Hz.

Now I need some suitable 12 inch drivers, weight is not an issue I need something that can be driven hard, so I was thinking precision-devices.
Both the PD121 and PD122 seem capable of doing the job and I can get them at a very good price.
I need to figure out the right enclosure volume and bassreflex tube size and length but I´m kind of a noob with WinIDS, any help would be appreciated smiley4

to me pd122 have a to low qts to works good in a reflex an horn cab should be better. Pd122er and pd121 will do the reflex job. Just for curiosity what is a good price for this drivers?

If you have access to BMS drivers then look no farther than the 12N620. I have a drawing of an X12 Style cab using 2 x 12N620 + 4550 or 4552nd or 4544 comps on a BMS horn. The PD drivers will not get close. If cost is an issue have a look at the 12S320 which is the ferrite equivalent.
