Add-on for stipe miniscoop 18" was created by bitzo
Hi all,
Sometimes on SP comes out modular horn, rubic horn by rog mogale, the dandelion subs, another one on speakerstore.nl and an add-on by stipe for his miniscoop (so diy friendly, I like it so much).
This one fascinate me for some reason
-the miniscoop works fine without it;
-the add-on give a rear chamber with ports tuned high (mykey's idea);
-the add-on have the same external dimension of miniscoop so you can have a longer horn with a wider mouth.
So inspired by this concepts I've modeled another add-on for the same cab with same external dimension.

here's a sketch

I have a V1200 to test in the basic box. If the weather ever stops two will get built.
I'd be happy to mess with this, also the Saip version..

Nice to hear....Are you going to partecipate to the scoop clash?
however my add-on it's pretty simple but if you need some quotes from the plan please let me know. I'm very interested to see how you'll join the add ons and to know how do they sound.

could you do this as a BPH by sealing the top chamber and reversing the polarity to the driver?
been looking into something similar for myself, liking the option of only taking half when needed

this is not the original add-on designed by stipe. Mine is a crap, too much volume in each side of diaphram no driver control at all. I'll search the original plan.

cheers
