Mykey, love the smooth, rounded look of the C4-T cabs. What are the C4-T H/V dispersion characteristics? Will they be available in the UK? Oh, and what size drivers are you using?
Regards,
Jazomir

Hello Mykey,
A few things from a person with more that 20 years in the corporate marketing business.
First of all you have to make a decision who is your intended market.
You must be aware that beside F1 no one makes boxes without grills.
There fore you dont see much F1 rigs used for corporate events. Here i dont refer to small ballroom parties with a few speakers but bigger out door events. Corporate people like speakers that blend and are as less visible as possible in order to advertise the company or the product.
If all the people stair at you speakers and not in their banner they will not rent that system again.
It is also the case for live performances that are mostly funded by sponsors.
So BLACK is the color.
Second. Your boxes might sound best in the world but people perceive all professionally build boxes as clean simple black boxes.
So no shiny parts.
Make them black and with full not transparent grills. Imagine a black box with a small purple dot. That looks nice.
If your intended market are free party system owners (which i doubt will by a box from Indonesia) or F1 lovers then you are not going to do much business.
I see you as a very talented man and if you like to make a serious business (those boxes have a potential) then make a top box like those are but make a touring ready system. Make them flyable and go on a tour with the system. There is no better marketing then satisfied customers word.
When i talked with Ales Dravinec, the Head of R&D and a Co-owner of Eona ADR he said this to me:
"We needed a year to make a decision what kind of product we will produce. And we decided to go for the top quality product that can compete wit the best."
And they did it. Their products are mainly compared with Meyer. They also did a fantastic job in marketing their products in the USA. very clever one and not expensive at all considering how much the classic way of marketing can cost.
Those are my toughs.
Keep up the good job
Marjan

this look is intended for dance venues
got some quite mad stuff coming up in the future for just that
have more pictures taken of my sound systems than any other, in fact one client said he was fed up with renting in black box's
I will put a full grill for the corporate market
I read on the internet somewhere that on a Brian Adams tour he asked for full grills to be put on the Funktion-one system they were using, so I do know what is going on, and most sound systems at live events now get put behind use banners
thanks for that majanM

Exactly.
I understand that those speakers are intended for the club install market. But now many systems you think you can sell? 10? 20?
I am sure you dont think that every single club in Indonesia will go for your system.
If that is you plan then you should try to do something like Shorty is doing. But his boxes are veeeeeeeeeeery expensive.

don't want to be anything like Shorty or Gary Stewart
their kit looks like old and dated designs, nothing new. Shorty also buys in EAW etc
heard both installs in Singapore and wanted my money back
