One of the things missing is a busy for sale section. I believe this really does keep things active.
Is there not a way of getting the, "Advertise your gear for free" message across? Maybe inviting a couple of the trade sellers, LMC, SSE, Crystal Pro, John Henry, The rock Factory etc to put specials up in return for a link on their sites? Maybe even the Disco shops, a monthly specials bit.......?
I know one or two smaller shops that may be interested, would this be OK?
Over to the marketing boys...
Also surley their are some photo's out there of NYE gigs?
Come on chaps, me, Tony and Bee can only talk so much bollo*
Lets have some new posts.
Those having trouble adjusting to the different forum layout (different from the other side that is), just use the view active topics bit, you'll get used to it.
One last thing, the FSP meet, bring cameras!

Our numbers seem to increasing at an ever increasing speed. I think to get things to flow, we do need numbers seen on the other side. I do think there are people from FSP who could post here, but won't out of principle. Perhaps in the same way I will never be on their site. However, if you look at the average amount of regular people that post on SP, the numbers, in percentage terms, they are quite small. It's just down to the law of averages. I think this year will see a big difference in numbers for this site. Perhaps we should try to persuade Roger to get back on here and act like a normal member, rather than have the biased attitude that prevailed when on speaker plans. I personally would love to see him take part. He certainly wouldn't get any flack from here.
I think what will attract members is a more active situation. So, we need more photos, more info on things that are happening with peoples gear.
Perhaps, after the next meet, there will be useful stuff that can be posted.
In spite of the gloom and doom that this year could bring, I think we should all work to make sure that we have a good time on FSP.

Yep, heard same from many people.
Easy to shout on a PC.
Anyhow this is going nowhere....It's all well documented.
Mods, any objections to small trade advertising for, "Specials"?
I know of a Disco shop that clars out in Jan. May not even be the best of deals but will add to the growth.
Before anybody asks, there is nothing in it for me, I just don't like bullies so want to see this place grow.

Happy new Year !
I think promoting FSP is a great idea. Not sure about the banner thingy, it would be great to keep fsp banner free (or maybe a section cvalled sponsors?) but I don't know Adam's position on that...I will pm him.

Not banners. Just list of stuff for sale from trade rather than private. IE. Daves disco shop clearout sale. Not overly regular, just now and then?
