ok ive been playing around with winisd for a week now i think i have it sussed!!!! the box is 48lt tuned to 70khz with 2 ports 68mm in diameter and 42mm in length. The red line is the 10nmb420 (18sound) and the pink line is the 10ndl64 (b&c) i can get a smoother line for the b&c speaker but not if the box is gonna be used for both b&c or 18sound.....
what do you think!!!!!

My vote is still for the 18Sound. I assume the above simulation is for 2 drivers?
We might end up having to make the cabinet smaller. This is where we now have to look at what is a sensible cabinet size/shape, work out what volume we have available then go back to the simulations and see how it looks, then go back to the cabinet design and adjust...... Process is repeated until you're happy with the design.

Most sensible option would be a MTM (HF horn in the middle) configuration. Ports just need to be fit into whatever baffle space is available.

Yes, and the volume of the drivers and ports etc. I usually just guess a volume, a litre either way doesn't make a huge difference.

Chris i have calculated about 2.3lt for each 10" driver this was based on width by height by width and 2.7lt for the hf and horn..... does this sound right to you. total 7.3lt!!!!!!
