Horns are beyond me but I'd like to design some reflex cabs of my own. I'd also like to make some small 8" boxes for corporate stuff so when I've completed those they could be hosted if aproved. We could also get together with our designed boxes and do a testing day to provide data to support them.
Basic reflex cabs are pretty simple from an acoustic point of view. From experience it takes longer to sort out the practicalities of the cab. I've done quite a lot of simple but effective designs recently, feel free to pick my brains. I'm afraid I can't be bothered just to post everything, and difficult cos some of them exist only in my head and in wood!
why? you dont think this was Rogs idea originaly do you?
the hd15 is more or less a turbo tse115, coming from the mind of Tony Andrews, now of F1
Even so, it would be better to take the moral high ground on this type of thing.
Ceharden already has a prototyped and working version of a 15 inch rear ported horn, and it sounds good to me. I've also been wondering about designing a sub to go with HD15s (which would be a seperate design so no issues there).
