When joining your wood use plenty of the same type of glue with high filler value. If Your joints dont measure up, or you can see day light through them, re-cut the wood and start again, dont bodge it with wood filler and glue!.
Use car filler for filling screw holes.

Measure twice, cut once allways a big must!.

Buy your self the best quality tools you can afford, and never blame a wonky box on your cheap tools get a set square and metal straight edge.

A quality tapemeasure, and a good saw allways helps.

There are many power tools available to help cut/sand wood etc and a good router is a must for the curved edges, access panels and handles etc.

wood glue only works under high pressure so screw tight or use some serious force on the clamps to get best results from a join

do it for the love of the music
