Hi nick, Just clocked in. The SP9 went through a few changes, but only in th upgrading of the spec. The early ones did have a 500 watt speaker, no longer available. Later units had either 600 or 1000 watt speakers in them. The ones that SSE have are probably the early ones. Any of the Spektra range are worth having, as they were always intended to offer the best performance for the money, which very much.

Thanks. Was theat a bespoke 500watter? 3 or 4inch coil?
I know that was a while ago, no worries if you don't remember.
Thanks Again
Nick

It was the 18PWB with 4" coil.
Basically, The speakers got up graded when B and C brought out new models. A bit inconvenient at the time, but after a few mods to the tuning, it was always worth the effort.

Thanks. Well, if they lose the VAT that's not a bad box.
