Have any of you gigged there before.
How difficult is the load in and what size system did you use.
Just trying to decide if it's worth the hassle.
Cheers.

Is it the loading in and out that is the biggest problem.
Looks like there are a lot of stairs to climb.

You do realise that it's a mile out to sea and you have to load it all into a little fishing boat! They do have a cunning solution to the load-in problem which I will try to find a picture of.
Worst part of it actually for me was being stuck out there, the only member of crew on an overnight rave. It was warm and damp in the rooms, cold and wet outside and I had to beg just to get a cup of tea.

I was told you loadthe kit into a metal container which is loaded from the boat to the fort by a crane.
What size rig were you using.
I cant find any info on the size and shape of the rooms, is the main room round.
Cheers.

When I did it, the container was more of a 3 sided wooden box. Loading into the boat off the slipway is still a real PITA. When we loaded out, I ended up having to wade into the water to retrieve a box of Deltamax and a couple of 18" subs which were starting to float away having broken free and rolled down the slipway.
We were using Deltamax, 15" version. 3 per side on four 18" reflex subs I think. Might have been 6 per side but I doubt it. All of the rooms are odd shapes because they're round the edge of the fort. Quite small really, you can't get more than a couple of hundred people in and that would be a squash probably.
Pics must be on my laptop....
