What would be a good day to do this, Weekend/Weekday?

How much would you be willing to pay to sell? (would aim to price it between £10-20)

Would it be ok to charge on the Door? (keeps the scallywags out/helps to pay for advertising, hire of tables etc, Probably be a round £1-2 entry)

power would be provided on request?

A small Demo area for demoing Cabs/amps etc?

What should be allowed? ie just used/with alittle bit of new.

sounds very reasonable same as a record fair that goes on every now and then ,, charge for a table a quid or 2 to get in , you could get the missus or a friend to do a drinks table coffee , tea's , cold drinks ,, bound to work just need to drum up the hype so it makes it worth it all round ,, i.e you cover your costs and there is enough people there buying stuff to make it worthwhile for stall holders ,, bham bit far from me but good luck with your venture

Dave--Try and keep your costs down as low as possible on the first one to try and get it off the ground---I would charge £10 per pitch and £1 on the door and the best day by far would be Sunday--I would not bother with a demo area as eveyone could run a demo on their pitch area as long as a bit of common sense is involved with volume levels---I dont mind giving you a hand on the day as I think it may be a little chaotic for you to try and do everything yourself--cheers--John.

Great idea guys. I would come for a mooch round!

I have done similar guitar trade shows, difference is a table is £80!!!! Do get a lot of punters through the doors though.

It would just be nice to be able to see things in the flesh etc. A bit like music shops of old!!!

Keep us posted!!!

Podman.

I'm up for it. Birmingham's not a huge drive away, and it's a good chance for us all to put faces to names. And maybe pick up a bargain or two.

Ok, had a meeting about Venue Hire and it seems a Reasonable Amount.
The date im looking at is October the 19th which is a sunday.
Pitches/tables will be £10. The venue is a good size so there will be plenty of Space to Display your Wares. All Sellers will be given a Reasonable Space and Provided with a Table.
The is a Cafe/bar very close by and i will ask them to open on the day.
I will also provide a Hot drinks for Sellers as part of the price.

Entry will be £1 for Buyers.

The venue will open at 9 for sellers, and 11 for Buyers.

Im looking at Running it from 11 til around 5/6 depending on foot fall.

There Should be Ample free Parking for Sellers, with a Fairly easy load in route.
Theres a car park close by (which i think is free on sunday) and plenty of street parking.
Location is about 10mins walk from the city centre so access via trains and Coaches is good.

All i need now is People to Say that they would like to be a Seller. i would like to have a minimum of 30, i reckon there is space for upto 50 living plenty of space between tables.

Payment for selling would be 2 weeks in advance to book the pitch.

Just adding a page to my website for more details.

Let me know via email if this intrests you.
