I want to build a pair of lightweight top speakers .They would be used with pair of Tony Wilkes Q12 - 12" subs and and powered by inuke6000dsp.

The goal is the best output to weight ratio.I am thinking of some 8"+1" design. Can anyone recommend a good combination of neodymium drivers for this ?

I am also tempted to build a column speakers with Faital Pro 4FE32 speakers. But I guess I would need a lot of them to match output of 8"+1" speaker. What do you think ?

I have build the 18 sound 8kit, with the 8mb400 nd1070.
Nice sound! I use them with to 15" subwoofers.
The woofer is not a neodymium, bud the speakers are lightweight!
Maby this is an option for You?

Thank you

It look really good. I was looking at B&C kit too.It uses neo mid bass driver ,but I don't like the small horn and only 20w comp. driver. bcspeakers.s3.amazonaws.com/2013/02/12/16/15/23/78/file

18 sound which you have looks better.I will probably go with this one.

Where did you get parts for your crossover ? Especially inductors ,I have trouble sourcing here in Ireland.
