Zobel filter? was created by stoffergoffer
Do anybody know if there is any downsides to making a zobel filter? does it attenuate the driver? and if its made incorrectly could it possibly affect the sound in a bad way?

Zobel filters are useful additions to passive crossover networks. They flatten the impedance of the driver so that the low pass filter is closer to the ideal response.
They are not necessary in all situations so unless you have designed the crossover to work with one, probably best to leave it out.
