A great loss to our industry

My deepest condolences go out to the family of Rob Lingfield, who passed away on Sunday evening.

Thoughts also go out to his colleagues at Martin Audio, the PLASA association and his friends within the industry.

My thoughts are with you and your family.

This is a shock, details will no doubt unfold as to the cause. I first met Rob when he worked with Malcolm Hill in Hollingbourne. I always delivered the gear personally so I saw quite a lot of him in those early days. He's obviously done a good job at Martin Audio, so he will be greatly missed.

Never met the person, but seems music industry is losing many talents these days. smiley6
