does anyone know what Driver is suppose to be in a Thunder Ridge SB1000.
ok just opened one up. Seems like some funky horn loaded 18". PHL driver inside, not sure if thats correct. Took some photos. The rear chamber is abit odd.
Anyone know these? any good in singles or is it better just to get some Reflex boxes.

Looks like it's been routered to fit a driver with straight edges?

I would also,I remember Alex saying that he rated the Thunder Ridge bass horns as he said "theres something dark about the sound".Sounds good to me!
So when is the Monster Martin/ASS link up,I was thinking the new Wembly stadium should be big enough to accomodate all the gear we own!
Anyone fancy pitching it to Pink Floyd,or the Whoetc..try and convince them that they should be doing an official retro gig using old school kit!

Some mates of mine have a big pile of the SB2000 version of this, and they are indeed PHL loaded. They sound a lot nicer with Beyma G550 in them mind, make a lot of noise and seem to drop a lot lower than you'd expect.
No handles, wheels and bloody heavy though!

Looks like the front of a PD but the magnet looks to be the same colour and shape as the RCF! smiley14
