Advise for Saw

lol...... makita make great skill saws like the festool, with guide rails but you will pay a few hundred less......... The festool stuff is very well make and will last, as will the makita..... i feel you do pay alot just for the festool name........ hear is a few links below to other skill saws (plunge saw).......

both the makita and dewalt do the same job as the festool but both are alot cheeper...... for me no brand name is worth £100.00 more on the price tag......

Please note i use these kinds of tools allday every day......

I asked some quotes from an italian metabo reseller, tha table accessory where shoud I put my saw cost more than the saw :shock:
I'm going to search makita or metabo combined mitre-panel saw.

-dewalt snip (chop) saw
-Elektra Beckum (Metabo) and Startrite table saws
-Elu routers (which have now been copied by dewalt and others - Dewalt bought out Elu)

oh and Makita drills....

Black & Decker brought both Elu and DeWalt and then shut down Elu and used their tech with DeWalt. Sadly DeWalt is slowly going the way of Black & Decker ie more hobbyest less pro.

i have 2 x 12v, 2 x 14v and 2 x 16v but all are a few years old..... but you do have a good point, because i used a friends brand new 18v drill the other day, and in a direct comparison my 12v xrp had more torq.......... than the new 18v....
