Crossovers for small PA system? was created by mooreman
Hiya guys,
I'm building my first pa system and in the process of building 2 cubo 15's with Delta 15lf drivers in at the moment. I was planning to use a Kam 2000w amp (1000per channel) to power them and use 2 wharfedale svp15's as satellite speakers. I've used a few systems that had high pass outputs on the subs and wanted to do the same with the Cubo's, but I cant find any crossovers that will handle 400w rms for the delta's with a high pass output for the wharfedales, any suggestions? I wanted to use a high pass that still sends some bass to the wharfedales but as they're only 200w rms I cant send too much. Thanks loads for any help in advance! Im stuck!
p.s this is the best x-over i've found - www.lean-business.co.uk/eshop/em ... p-840.html

Yea that was the other option... But then means I have to carry around 2 amps and a x-over everywhere No good passive x-overs around?

your'e already dragging onne amp around, assuming its in a rack? whats it to add another amp and crossover? You will get much better results running active, i dont put passives in any cabs anymore! Its a big difference in quality smiley20
