My Rigs First Reggae show!!

Providing sound for a show in a few days. Pub holds about 150 max, Plan on using my 4 mth30's, two 12" midtops. Should i bring the two 18" reflexes as well? Your feedback and criticism is welcome.

If you bring them I would run a 4 way set up with the 18s on sub bass, MTs on low bass, then 12' mid tops. I wouldn't run the 18s at the same freq as the Mts. General rule of thumb is do not miss match sub boxes do to the huge differences in tuning and sound. One style of box will either be pushed to its limits trying to keep up with the other or not be used to its potential because the other box is at its max sound.

Thanks. I run a Mackie board with a sub (<90 hz) out. Should I run the 18s out of here?

Edit- my crossover is maxed at three way, so I think I just answered my question.

I'd take the reflex, just move them about the room untill there is no obvious conflict with the others

the last show i did here, they had a bunch of dj's spinning all night. I had the MTH30's all coupled together on the dance floor, because the promoter thought it would be nice for the ladys to dance on... Needless to say, they took a beating (High heels are not nice to wood). I plan on using them in a corner this time. And running the 18's under the 12's.
I've also found that no matter what you try to tell these guys (non speaker minded folk), they don't seem to care or understand speaker placement, and want the stacks were they want them.

so i set up last night as the photo shows below. the other stack i used the 18 reflexes and another top, pointed down the bar. The stack shown covered the dance floor very nice. Everyone was happy and more business is coming smiley20
