I agree with bee, that mid horn flare looks like it will do nasty things between 1K and 3KHz due to the parallel walls in the flare. Probably best to think of it as good up to 1KHz and so you'll need the comp to take over from there.

I have had great luck with either of these. The NSD says 1.6 but I have dropped them to 1.2 with a 24DB 1.2 point and have never had a problem. They both a great sounding comp drivers.

smiley20 gotta love eminence. I have realized that modding the horn won't do much. Thanks for the help guys, hopefully i can get these running by spring, with scoops or 218 reflex under them.
