apart from the 2U case and the improved LCD display for the new range of dB-Mark LMS's, are there any other changes compared with the 1U 'older' versions?
They have better metering and a lot more bands of EQ (15 per output) as well as a built in sig-gen etc. The blocking caps are also of a much better quality than in the 1u and Wima caps are everywhere BUT to my ears they sound the same as their little brother.
I personally would find it hard to justify the extra expense unless I needed the colour screen that definitely helps with set-up from the front panel.
The model with the Digi I/O is another kettle of fish and I am sure that with the extensive I/O options this will find favor with Hi-Fi buffs etc.
