I know guys that work live with Albeton, very impressive in a, "Everyone face the DJ" way.

Not sure it's in the spirit of Roots though?

Not really, as you would need a guy on the set just for the Effects.

Where as plenty of Roots sounds have Mic guy, and then one dude selecting, engineering, and handling effects...

I sort of meant the digital(ness) of it.

Having seen some very earthy analogue/valve kit pics from carnival my minds eye is elswhere.

Clever kit though.

Analogue delay/reverb and Valve business was previous era.

Aba Shanti is prime example of "Modernised" Roots Sound, which still sounds how Roots system should.

May not sound 10/10 every time, but when it's tuned right, I've heard artists sing live on that set, with nothing missing. smiley20

JT: Sold him a Proline, turned out it was a little faulty when he arrived (I missed the fact it had been dropped), spent a lot of time sorting, I refunded him some etc>

Totally honest and nice guy smiley20
