Hello People,
I am looking to build my own little rig piece by piece, no hurry as money is a bit of an issue! I just want the autonomy of taking my own system and tunes / mates out bush and having a session when I feel like it!
A friend of mine who built and ran a huge acid techno rig steered me toward Fane gear as a good place to start.
I have been looking at the Colossus 18XB with a couple of the Fane 15" 2 way enclosures. I haven't really made a decision on which drivers to select for the two ways as I am focussing on building the bass cab first.
What do people reckon to this as a rig to start with? Would people recommend I go with the Fane cab design or is there a simpler build that would do the job?
