mt 130 plans

First time here.. I hope this is in the right category
I was wondering if anyone has made these cabs (mt130). Would I be able to make them shorter and therefor thinner to fit onto of my current setup? My kicks and subs are all 510mm wide and the plans are for a 580mm cab. Would the sound be vastly different if I did this?

How deep are your subs? Making the MT-130 shorter means that the cone won't load as low. If you must narrow your tops, perhaps you can avoid making them shorter at the same time?
