I've had a few enquiries about hexagonal pattern grill in the past and have decided to get some in as a trial. The sheet is 1.5mm thick and is 6mm hexagon perforations with a 64% open area.
The bad news is that it only comes in 2000 x 1000 sheets so will only really be suitable for cabs less than 500 wide and/or 1000 high. Obviously they can be made bigger but will be pricey due to the waste offcuts created.

I've also added 3mm foam to the stock..... apparently used on the inside of some EV grills and also inside Sennheiser cans.
