These Isolators are still available, Just had enquiries from 3 different people, so I thought I would jog this along. There still out there doing the job.

Are they better than just thick hard foam like this?

All I can say is that, I tried many combinations before I settled for the combination. The only single material that I found that was effective was Neoprene. Do the test, put that foam on a thin table, but first put your ear to the table and bang it with your knuckles. Then put the foam between your ear and the table and repeat. You will then know whether all the resonance has gone. These Isolators don't stop physical shaking, but they do stop resonance.
