Champ, I'm fine. Busier than ever before, that's one of the reasons I'm not around on here too much.
Regarding the strange table, it would have to be made from solid sideways laminated material. The top would then be machined out using hand router jigs to make way for the equipment. During the laminating process, gaps would be left inside to accommodate mains cabling that would run out at floor level Isofiller and 2 pack would provide the finnish.
