Hi All,
I've got an old PSL VP-1620 amp that has fairly spectacularly blown up. I wasn't there when it happened but apparantly the flash was visible even though the amp was tucked under the stage, behind the speaker stack!
I've take the lid off, and a couple of output trannies are badly fried, with one of the pins having been vaporised. The other channel is still functioning.
Not being an electronics person, I will have to defer to an expert to see if there is any hope for theold girl.
And here is the question - does anyone know of an amp repairer in the North London or Hertfordshire area who could take on a PSL amp?
