preamp que???

Rough guide to setting up your preamp- Note if using buller tweeters or comp drivers then make sure that they are protected with there own passive crossover or at leas capacitors!!
your speaker cabinet builder should be able to advise and and fit these.

I make my owe cabs the preamp has a x-over in it plus we use some speaker management units too. Any bight ideas ????[img]smileys/smiley19.gif[/img]

depends which preamp your using

some allow a fullrange signal to reach the tweaters. Some don't

it´s the JTS 4way. by the way I´d like one from you to boss

I'm awaiting some premade boards from overseas. If they don't turn up in the next two weeks (and work first time) then I will have to stop taking orders for a while

BTW, if you've got an LMS then why do you need passive x-over on the tweeters

am only running the tops an mids off the speaker man´´ lower mids and bas through Jts cause i don´t know how to protected them the horns an twe´ts

one for mskeete this really, would it be sensible or possible to get a preamp with stereo outs with no internal crossover and then just send the signal along through a speaker management system? or are some of the systems interlinked? been thinking about getting a preamp to replace the old mixer, but id like a bit more flexibility than just getting a fixed set of crossover points.

I'm not building stero preamps for the time being
