Hi all

I have a couple of Citronic power amps. PPX1600 and PPX2000. Real heavyweight beasts. While browsing around the B+C website I noticed that they are selling switchmode PSU modules and was thinking about replacing the power suppies in the Citronics with them. These are older amps and serve as spares. All my other amps are now Crown XTi's.

Just thought it would be nice to get the weight of the Citronics down but wanted to ask if anyone has tried this. The PPX 1600 has two independent toroidal power supplies and the PPX2000 has one massive tx for boath channels. They boath tip the scales at over 25Kg  .

Are you talking about The B and C Website or the Proel site?
