Matrix STR 3000H - Repair

Was considering this today..

@Matt/Andy Matrix/Sinfinity,

If an STR3000H is sent back to Matrix, for blown output transistors, what will they be replaced with?

IIRC, does the STR3000H have metal case trannies, where as the later XP3000H has plastic case?

Also, do you guy's have internal pictures of the 3U2000 Matrix Mosfet?

Wanted a discussion about it, and probably input from other repairers..

Have a few mates who also want amps repaired, so instead of repeated emails, thought Matt would respond quickly, as he's here pretty regular.

Sorry for the delayed reply.
Whilst keeping as eye on 9 forums it is possible for me not to refresh them all continuously to check for new posts. If you ever need to get info back from me, please feel free to send apm, or better yet the quickest method shall always be to pop an email to matt at matrixamplification dot com, that comes through to both phones and pops messages up on screen at work.

oh by the way it has got the f smiley35 biggest toridal transformer in that i have ever used,and it is very heavy
and the one on ebay must be close to 18 years old

i used to get them from magnatec
rapidonline and farnell stock them. smiley1
