Faulty power amp help wanted was created by vinamtaylor
Hi I am new today but have been looking for a while at this and other sites my problem is this I have a peavey pv 1600 power amp that has lost the output on the right hand side as you look from the front all that happens now is when you turn it up full a distorete muffled bass soud comes out.
The usual checks have been done input leads output leads differnt speakers etc so it is that chanell at fault. Ihave had this fault before and a local engineer had a go and got it working but he did say that it was more awkward than other amps he repairs or builds. So anybody know wher I can get this repaired in the north east of England or even a second opinin sa I am stuck and my local engineer is stuck too.
