        Hello,
I am looking to make a 6"mid range horn to sit on top of a 12" reflex, and below a 1" comp.
I need somewhere to start, So the first thing I am going to do is look for a driver.
-First price, I have about £30-80 per driver to spend
-800hz-2.5/3kHz
-The more sensitivity the better
I have rough dimensions that the horn needs to fit into, maximum permissible mouth area is 937.5cm^2 with a path length of 250mm not including the driver. I plan to mould the horn out of fibreglass.
I have been looking at
cheap as chips end of the scale
www.lean-business.co.uk/eshop/celestion-...a-speaker-p-510.html
www.lean-business.co.uk/eshop/eminence-l...e-speaker-p-754.html
midrange
oem.ciare.com/en/297/349/prodotti.php
expensive
www.lean-business.co.uk/eshop/18-sound-6...ymium-mf-p-1889.html
Is there anything I should look at from other manufactures? BMS/BEYMA/FANE/PD that are in my price range?
I am planning to do a lot of experimenting, but I need a driver to start with.

You can also get the Ciare from Nigel at Lean. Pretty good driver for the money in horns.
