Hi i have 4 cubo 18 ext wich are 2.5cm (1 inch) narrower then original. How would rcf l18s800 performe in those? Looking at the 99.5 spl they should be really loud but are they low too? Thank you guys very much.
I've recently tested a L18S800 in a Cubo 18 Extended, I really liked it because it had a lot of power and "a good sense of fast bass". Our conclusion was: Tighten it to the baffle as if aiming for military grade classification, magnet in the horn. You won't miss that inch (well technically you will miss 1 Hz in how low it goes). For 90+ % of music styles out there it goes low enough.
Loaded with the RCF, Cubo 18 is a one man lift, loaded with the PD1850 it isn't. If you want the maximum output per size, use wheels all the time or are part of a crew, the PD1850 would be the best choice.
