HD15 Trap?

Never seen them before?

There are also a plan if you want to play with making it trapezoid. I think it would be much easier to build than the curved HD15.

I ended up averaging out the rounded part into 3 straight bits.

I saw the build pics. Very nice. Do you have to take out the mid horn to get the 15 out?

Yep actually both the hf and the mid horn has to go out. But that makes it possible to access everything. Slightly tedious if it had to happen often but hopefully I will not blow the drivers on such a regular basis that this becomes a problem.

Yeah,.....I'd be pissed if someone blew my 15's and I had to go though all that to change em out! :pinch:

But in my case the cost of the 15" would annoy me more. I think it takes around 15-30min to swap out the 15". Same time for the 10".

Someone contacted me about 3 months ago to design one.
I worked on it for a little while.
I dont like the concept as they are more omnidirectional anyway.
Plus I would rather have two HD for one hornloaded top.
I also like more modular system
but here ya go....
These were just the beginning stage and dimensions are definitely no longer the same.
