HI GUYS I NEED HELP FINDING THE CORRECT ENCLOSURE FOR MY DAS 18 SX DRIVERS IV TRIED RCF1018 AND EVT18,PROBLEM IM HAVING IS THAT THE DRIVERS BOTTOM OUT VERY EASY I POWER THEM WITH A HYBRID A5000 AMP AND I USE THEM AT 40HMS PLEASE ASSIST WITH ANY DESIGN

Just 2 drivers,I. Do small mobil events and I'm realy not looking for more sound

I will try anything,thing that I have noticed is that this driver cannot take a strait knock if the volume is to high it bottoms out but it gives a very strong hum

sounds like you need a limiter or something to stop the amp from clipping. I don't think it has that much to do with the cab the driver is in, but more the driver reaching its xmax, probably from the amp clipping.

Might be worth checking out the cubo 18. Inquire on its thread, the gentleman that designed it is quite helpful. He will be able to tell you whether or not your drivers will work in his cab.

the amp has a limiter on it,i know the amp is to powerfull for the driver thats why i play it at 4ohms which is 2000rms each driver is 1000rms,however you correct,it only happens when i push it to much
