I constantly barrage my m8 BP Sound as he will not run his Turbomax 1800 loaded ones (might be 1500) above 80hz. Albeit with a gentle slope.

He says they honk like a pig with thoses drivers. Could be the drivers of course.

Could be they were designed to be used in large chambered scoops. :lol:

Have heard ES18s make splendid noises upto 170 hz with PD186/Fane 18XB.

IMHO his sound shite with one cab, six of them does this OMG thing though. All LAB driven.

Might be my age but I really don't like anything anymore unless the driver faces front.

i like to cross to mids at 180hz....

what a waste of a driver and of a box

looking to load with an 18" fanexb or PD186 and comfortably cover 75 to 180hz with no honking allowed smiley36

This was a Tim/Smiter idea iirc. It does work though, but in multiples and they are bomb proof.
Used on a lot of hardcore events mainly, bloody vicious 180bpm attack smiley29

XB? Na, 18b, can use as sub for pub then, XB rips in these below 50hz, Levs seen it iirc

XBs/PD186 are great in Bokes if not run too low.. Forward firing.. smiley20
