I don't really get why it is unwanted.

IMHO, response above 130hz is not quite as predicted, with inverted 18" drivers.

But both USB and ES18 are inverted and both do better 150-200hz than HD15, which should do upper bass better with its 15" driver?

Just simmed my 60cm tiny cube with PD.186. With 700 watts, in 2pi there is 12mm excursion peak @ 50hz. HPF @ 60hz should be safe.

2pi 2,83v

1pi 2v

0,5pi 1,41v

TBH, I think most of the 18 BPHs sound better than the HD15..

However after hearing the Bokes, and them being the "perfect size" for scoops.. I'm bit biased now I guess...

I "think" forward firing version of this, would be perfect for some.. Including me.

Money waiting in bank, to pay for MDF forward firing prototype, that sims well with Fane 18XB, PD186.

Just heard a rumour, that an SP member has forward firing version of the ES18BPH, and is supposed to be superior to many rear firing similiar cabs.
