TANNOY T-40 worth bothering with?

was down at a club the other day and found one of these Tannoy T-40 bandpass cabs next to a dumpster.

I picked it up in my m8s car before some rude bwoy decides he wants it in his beemer.

driver was toasted as expected, cab ain't bad though, nice tough paint finish and 15mm birch ply, specs seem quite impressive too after looking it up online.

however being a bandpass design it may be hard to find a suitable replacement, unless I get the original driver reconed. thats if there is a recone kit for the driver.

gonna be loud enough for a small rig? or just house parties?

hi m8t, i have 4 of these loaded with the original drivers fane i think. I use them for small venues, all 4 together gives enough power for about 200 people venue. Alot of small bars and clubs use these as installs. I have installed a few in venues. For price and size they are very good, they wont give you that real low dirty base but do work well as a base filler.
