Cubo 18 box or..? Update: MBP-46!

Yah, I went to the plan hosted here and thought it was the same cab that mykey built from in that link. After a second look I noticed it wasnt the same... sort of looks similar though.

from looking at mykeys cab in person, its not dis-similar to the cubo is some ways, but very differant in others. First off its ported, the rear chamber has a port. the driver loading is at a differant angle, but it does fire into a front chamber like the cubo (with magnet in horn). Imagine putting a rear chamber on the cubo (driver magnet in horn) then firing into the chamber on the cubo, the horn length is not as long as the cubo. I wouls say mykes cab maximises space and size to play the frequencys it does. The port aids the cab to play slightly lower..... I have thought in the past if a port on the cubo would help it play lower...... but would mean it could only be loaded with magnet in chamber......

Is that a ported esbph-15 cab or am I way off?

I want a stack of 4-6 mbp-46 eventually because of the benefits of coupling with the horn sections improves overall spl!

I'm planning to build 4-6 boxes.

My first thoughts were double 18" 's, but single boxes is more easy too handle.
More mobility too

joey kind of but not..... its not as easy as sticking a port on the cab, the rear chamber volume plays a massive part in this kind of design, to big or too small and it wont work........

I didn't mean that mykey's cab like the Cubo, I meant the MBP Joe suggested. I thought they were the same at first, but then after looking again realized they aren't.
